Why Scouts?

From taking your first hike to your first marshmallow roasted over a campfire. Scouts is all about fun, family, friendship and adventure.

Scouting gives children the chance to explore, create, and grow while making lifelong memories. Whether they're fishing, playing sports, building projects, camping under the stars, enjoying s'mores, visiting the local police or fire departments, or racing a Pinewood Derby car, every adventure helps them discover something new.

Scouting is fun for the whole family, with activities that bring parents, siblings, and friends together. Along the way, Scouts learn the value of doing their best, trying new things, helping others, and building confidence. Those experiences help shape them into capable, caring and resilient people— one adventure at a time.
